I discovered the legal field by accident in 1980 and it has been a good fit. I am proud that I have worked for only three firms, and never less than 12 years at each firm. I’ve been fortunate that all my employer firms have been family friendly, flexible, and supportive.
My knowledge and resourcefulness have allowed me the berth to work independently and also be part of a team.
The pandemic benched me for two years, but I am glad for the opportunity to work again.
I grew up primarily in Illinois. I moved to Eugene from Yakima, Washington in 1974 when my family returned to Illinois. I began my legal assistant career in 1980 and eventually moved to Luvaas Cobb with Janice Hatton in 2013. I did not work during the pandemic, but I missed it and am happy to be back at Luvaas Cobb.
My husband and I have 40 acres, two dogs, and two energetic grandsons. We like to travel and we attend many sporting events. Needless to say, we are very busy when not at the office.
