Amy C. Genz
As the firm bookkeeper, Amy takes care of accounts payable, accounts receivable, client billing, reconciliation of the firm's client trust and business operating accounts, and tax information.
Amy, raised in Coos County, Oregon, joined Luvaas Cobb in the fall of 2018. She obtained her AAS Degree in Business Management from Lane Community College and has almost 20 years of experience as a bookkeeper. A fan of databases and numbers, Amy brings her technological savy and excellent attention to detail to her position handling Luvaas Cobb’s bookkeeping needs. You will often hear Amy say that "A stitch in time saves nine!" and she applies that to her daily workflow managing multiple tasks for the firm.
Amy is a volunteer, board member and finance manager for SPOT ("Stop Pet Overpopulation Today") which is an all-volunteer organization that provides spay and neuter vouchers to low income community members.
When not at the office or assisting SPOT, Amy spends time with her family and her pets (last count was 2 dogs, 2 cats and 7 birds). She enjoys genealogy research and the occasional Zumba class in the evening to keep her mind and body healthy.
